What is TOGAF 10?
The TOGAF Standard, 10th Edition, from The Open Group is the world's most widely used framework for enterprise architecture. It helps organisations design, plan, implement and govern their business, data, application and technology architecture so that IT change supports business strategy. At its heart is the Architecture Development Method (ADM), a repeatable cycle for developing and managing architecture.
TOGAF 10 reorganised the standard into a stable Fundamental Content and a growing Series Guides library with practical guidance on topics such as agile architecture, digital transformation, security and business architecture. This makes it easier to keep up to date without rewriting the core.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between TOGAF 9.2 and TOGAF 10?
TOGAF 10 splits the standard into Fundamental Content and Series Guides, making it more modular and easier to apply in agile and digital environments. The ADM remains at the core.
Should I take Foundation and Practitioner together?
Most candidates do. Foundation gives the knowledge and Practitioner tests application. WiseLearner's 4-day course covers both.
Are there prerequisites for TOGAF Foundation?
No. There are no formal prerequisites, though general IT and enterprise architecture knowledge helps.
What is the TOGAF ADM?
The Architecture Development Method is TOGAF's step-by-step cycle for developing, implementing and governing enterprise architecture.
Is TOGAF useful in agile organisations?
Yes. TOGAF 10 includes guidance on using TOGAF with agile methods, and many organisations combine it with SAFe.
Is TOGAF training available online?
Yes. WiseLearner runs live, instructor-led online TOGAF 10 batches, plus corporate batches.
